A place of calm amongst the bustle of Seoul.

What an absolute gem in Seochon - just off Jahamun-ro - Hide & Seek is close to everything - the Palaces, Sejong-daero, and many museums and galleries (including Ground SeeSaw right next door). The room was cool and clean and the bed very comfortable. Well worth the stay!

Directions! I arrived late, and apparently came in the back door (which is on the main road) not the front door (which is down an alleyway).

Seoul is a very nice city

The location is very nice, we had beautifull weather and could enjoy our (self prepared) breakfast on the terrace. coffeeshops and bakery very close, so easy to get a breakfast

room was very small, restaurant not available in the evenings and sundays

An excellent hostel marred by a money making complacency.

Location was good for us, quiet at night, easy access to subway. Plenty of hot water, pleasant outdoor sitting area.

A general feeling that making money was all that really mattered. Watered down soap very little coffee made available, hardly any furniture, no longer supplying breakfast. Often the case in my experience when Lonely Planet recommends and the owner sits back and lets the money roll in.

One Small issue with the store blind that wouldn't close. So lots of light from the streets into the room. And always best to have earplugs depending on the other person residing there (I had earplugs).

excellent neighbourhood, comfortable stay at this cute brick house.

excellent location and neighbourhood, literally next door to the palace. very cute old brick house, clean and nicely setup. it is not very cheap for a solo traveller, but is one of the cheapest for this neighbourhood. Host was polite, professional and helpful. Thank you and hope to stay for longer next time to enjoy the neighbourhood.

would be nice if the check out time is a bit later than 10:30! Noon would have been much easier.

The owner is friendly. It would be a great place to stay if you're a tourist to Korea and want some homey vibe.

We were just in Seoul for a shirt business type trip, so it wasn't the best match for us because of the check-in procedure.

Exceptional, Central and Clean

I loved my little room. It was very clean and perfect for me as a solo traveler. The Guesthouse is very close to a major subway station and I was able to reach any place I wanted in no time. Highly recommend, as I am coming back there to end my stay in Korea as well.

It was perfect, there was nothing I didn’t like.

Great base for exploring nearby attractions.

Host was friendly and hospitable. Near the famed Gyeongbokgung Palace with Bukchon Hanok Village nearby. A brisk stroll to both locations.

When its wet, it can be difficult for new arrivals to find their way to this guesthouse. A visual map, with directional maps would be nice - from the nearest metro station.

Very Good

Very friendly host who received me even though I arrived late. The room is very small and the equipment is the bare necessity, but I have been out all day anyways and was perfectly fine with the comfort. Everything is functional, the air-conditioning works well and is not noisy, the tiny bathroom+ shower is perfectly clean and the shower runs nicely, and you can get a fresh towel everyday if you want. The location is very nice, right next to the Gyeongbokgoong Palace, there are many restaurants very nearby (e.g. in the "Sejong Village Food Street") and subways lines 3 and 5 are nearby.

On a quaint street next to Gyeongbukgong, room was clean, hostel was organised and comfortable. Owner waited for us past 10pm to check us in (thank you so much!). Recommended!

The room was simple but cozy and clean. The owner is a very friendly and helpful person. You don't have to worry about keys because the doors are openend with keycodes. The location ist excellent and very quiet.

Great location, friendly host, good value.

Friendly and helpful host, good sized room, very good location close to transport, restaurants, museums and in a quiet neighbourhood. Our room had underfloor heating, a kitchen and an outside garden space.

If I'm being picky the room was a bit dated and tired looking, the facilities are basic but functional, the kitchen didn't have a fridge so you had to use the communal fridge which admittedly was just outside our room door but an inconvenience.

Very Good

Great location and good welcome. Easy access to metro and activities. Room is a bit small but the bed is comfortable and AC is working fine. Plan earbuds if you are sensible to noise for sleeping, N.B: We did not use the kitchen nor try the café downstairs.

Easily getting mosquito in, even with mosquito window closed and repellent device. Bathroom felt a bit outdated and small. Terrace need up keeping, and there some potential there.

One of the best guest houses I have stayed at in Seoul! Excellent location and very friendly!

Excellent location close to Gyeongbokgung Palace. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and kind!

Lots of mosquitoes flying into the room because there were no screens on the windows if need to ventilate (air flow).

Cute and Convenient Location

The location of this guesthouse is perfect! Short walking distance from Gyeongbokgung subway station making easy to get to meeting points for different excursions. The guesthouse is not even a block away from the palace, starbucks is right around the corner. There are many, many, many restaurants and cafe's that are a short walking distance away. There is a small fridge, a microwave, plates, cups, utensils and a filtered water dispenser in the communal area. For those who need a few things, Daiso is right by the subway station! They do have washer and dryer available for use. The restaurant downstairs serves very delicious food! I had burger (without buns) served on top of a bed of sauteed bean sprouts, a side of salad and some french fries. If you stay at the guesthouse they give you some free treats! Mr. Lim was very welcoming and accommodating! I really enjoyed my stay!

This is a little more on the structural side, maybe the rooms could have been a little bigger, but its not a deal breaker. There is a terrace area that does need a bit of upkeeping but also not a deal breaker. I sat on the terrace and enjoyed the music from the cafe across they way.

Excellent place to stay in the heart of Seoul, highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay in the heart of Seoul. Very welcoming host. Clean and cosy. There's a large living room for you to hang and store your luggage if needed.

No breakfast included. Front door is actually the back door entrance.
